2011-10-31
Chinese authorities have arrested more than twelve thousand suspects and snatched three hundred kilograms of unlawful drugs in countrywide crackdown on drugs sold thru web chat rooms. The official Xinhua Stories Agency announces police busted 144 drug rings concerned in drugs production and trafficking in a campaign. It didn't say what drugs were being sold or had been snatched. Xinhua announces police in the western towns of Lanzhou and Xi'an revealed that some individuals were selling and purchasing drugs thru BBs that weren't accessible to outsiders. It is saying noobs could only join if they were introduced by existing users. Xinhua related in Sunday's report that about two thirds of the twelve thousand suspects arrested were folk under 35 years of age.
